I found love
But not where I expected Him to be.
A promise, given as a girl, for me.
This promise came to completion
From a dark, cold place of desperation.
From suffering, a love story began,
for love Himself, in His remarkable plan,
delivered me from the waters of sorrow
So that I can face tomorrow
In the warmth of His marvellous light.
With childlike faith, I will follow.
Wherever He goes, you will find me there.
For I am now a co-heir.
Love is a king,
a humble and gentle king.
Who, with tenderness and love
Guides His children home above.
